The Undertaker and His Pals (1966)
Directed by David C. Graham
Quick Hit
The Undertaker and His Pals has a clean hook and basically no polish, which keeps it face-down on impact. Mostly wreckage, occasionally funny by accident.
Full Take
This one swings hard at horror and only sometimes connects. It lives or dies on execution, not reputation, and that matters here. Once the mood is set, everything comes down to whether the film can cash in its own setup. The set pieces are what matter, and this one gets some mileage out of them. That’s why it lands at TRASH.
