Not perfect but had some solid moments.
I actually agree with this take. Itās not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.
Thereās a lot to like here, but also a lot that holds it back from being great.
Iām more negative on The Amateur than the review is. The movie keeps hinting at something stronger than what it actually delivers. The pacing kept sagging just when it needed momentum, which made the whole thing feel longer than it was. A couple cool ideas canāt save the overall experience.
