Terrifier (2016)
Directed by Damien Leone
Quick Hit
Terrifier rips like a blade-forward slasherācheap, nasty, with zero interest in comforting you.
Full Take
Terrifier leans hard into slasher energy, and Damien Leone keeps the tone cheap without letting the movie drift. The craft is sharp, the mood is nasty, and the pressure keeps building until the whole thing snaps. Messy in spots, still worth the ride.

Iām more negative on Terrifier than the review is. There are some interesting pieces in there, but none of them come together in a way that really grabbed me. The pacing kept sagging just when it needed momentum, which made the whole thing feel longer than it was. A couple cool ideas canāt save the overall experience.
