Slither (2006)
Directed by James Gunn
Quick Hit
Slither plays like a creature-feature banger—slimy, funny, with enough style to make the damage look beautiful.
Full Take
Slither leans hard into creature feature energy, and James Gunn keeps the tone slimy without letting the movie drift. The filmmaking is locked in, the atmosphere is doing real work, and the payoff earns the damage. It may not be for everybody, but it definitely has teeth.

There’s a lot to like here, but also a lot that holds it back from being great.
Kinda mixed but I get the appeal.
I’m in the middle on this one. There are definitely some strong moments, but also parts that didn’t fully connect.
solid 👍

I actually agree with this take. It’s not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.
This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
