Opus (2025)
Directed by Mark Anthony Green
Quick Hit
Opus leans into tension and unpredictability, delivering a solid genre hit.
Full Take
Opus builds atmosphere with a steady hand, mixing suspense and character pressure into something that keeps you locked in. It’s not reinventing the genre, but it delivers enough intensity and style to make it worth your time.

This one actually worked for me.
This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
I actually agree with this take. It’s not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.

I’m somewhere in the middle on Opus. There’s real craft in it and you can feel what it’s going for. The movie has stretches where it really works, then other stretches where it slips out of your hands. So yeah, I respect it more than I love it.
