I honestly think this is elite. It might not be perfect, but it does so many things right that it doesn’t matter.
This is one of those movies that just works on every level. The tone, pacing, and execution all come together perfectly.

I’m somewhere in the middle on North by Northwest. I can see why people rock with it because the tone is there. My issue is that it doesn’t fully cash in on everything it sets up. I wouldn’t call it bad at all, just not a full knockout.
This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
