Quick Hit
Love Hurts leans into tension and unpredictability, delivering a solid genre hit.
Full Take
Love Hurts builds atmosphere with a steady hand, mixing suspense and character pressure into something that keeps you locked in. It’s not reinventing the genre, but it delivers enough intensity and style to make it worth your time.

Not perfect but had some solid moments.
There’s a lot to like here, but also a lot that holds it back from being great.

I’m somewhere in the middle on Love Hurts. It has enough atmosphere and intent to make sense as a recommendation. My issue is that it doesn’t fully cash in on everything it sets up. So yeah, I respect it more than I love it.
This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
