Ju-on: The Grudge leans hard into supernatural horror energy, and Takashi Shimizu keeps the tone creeping without letting the movie drift. The craft is sharp, the mood is nasty, and the pressure keeps building until the whole thing snaps. It may not be for everybody, but it definitely has teeth.
