Holland (2025)
Directed by Mimi Cave
Quick Hit
Holland leans into tension and unpredictability, delivering a solid genre hit.
Full Take
Holland builds atmosphere with a steady hand, mixing suspense and character pressure into something that keeps you locked in. It’s not reinventing the genre, but it delivers enough intensity and style to make it worth your time.

Kinda mixed but I get the appeal.
I actually agree with this take. It’s not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.

trash 💩
I’m more negative on Holland than the review is. It has a setup that sounds better on paper than it plays on screen. The pacing kept sagging just when it needed momentum, which made the whole thing feel longer than it was. So even with a few decent moments, I still came away underwhelmed.
meh 😐

This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
There’s a lot to like here, but also a lot that holds it back from being great.
