Frenzy (1972)
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
Quick Hit
Late Hitchcock comes back mean, filthy, and absolutely locked in.
Full Take
Frenzy feels like an old master letting the leash snap. The violence is uglier, the humor blacker, and London itself seems soaked in appetite and rot, giving the whole film a nasty vitality. One of the great late-career rebounds.

Everything about this works.
This is one of those movies that just works on every level. The tone, pacing, and execution all come together perfectly.
not really my thing
kinda overrated imo
this is exactly why Ace rates this high
This sticks with you. The atmosphere and direction carry it hard and make it feel special.
I honestly think this is elite. It might not be perfect, but it does so many things right that it doesn’t matter.
This one absolutely hits for me.
