I’m more negative on Event Horizon than the review is. It has a setup that sounds better on paper than it plays on screen. The pacing kept sagging just when it needed momentum, which made the whole thing feel longer than it was. So even with a few decent moments, I still came away underwhelmed.
This one actually worked for me.
I actually agree with this take. It’s not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.
