Dungeon of Harrow (1964)
Directed by Pat Boyette
Quick Hit
Dungeon of Harrow throws horror on screen with real nerve, but the finish is a little thin. More hit than miss, and that counts.
Full Take
This one swings hard at horror and only sometimes connects. When the rhythm drags or the trick is obvious, it starts leaking air fast. Once the mood is set, everything comes down to whether the film can cash in its own setup. The set pieces are what matter, and this one gets some mileage out of them. That keeps it stuck at SOLID.
