Apocalypse Now (1979)

This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.

I’m pretty much with this take on Apocalypse Now. It builds its mood early and keeps squeezing that tension the whole way. The best thing here is the way the pressure keeps stacking without it feeling forced. It earns the good will by actually delivering on the mood it promises.
