Annabelle: Creation (2017)
Directed by David F. Sandberg
Quick Hit
Annabelle: Creation slides in like a supernatural dread machine—creepy, efficient, and never loosens its grip.
Full Take
Annabelle: Creation leans hard into supernatural horror energy, and David F. Sandberg keeps the tone creepy without letting the movie drift. It knows its lane and drives straight into the dark with style, control, and just enough mean streak. The rough edges are part of the charm.

This didn’t really land for me overall, but I can see why some people like it.
This one actually worked for me.
Not perfect but had some solid moments.

I’m somewhere in the middle on Annabelle: Creation. I can see why people rock with it because the tone is there. The movie has stretches where it really works, then other stretches where it slips out of your hands. So yeah, I respect it more than I love it.
wtf 😳

Kinda mixed but I get the appeal.

I actually agree with this take. It’s not perfect but it definitely delivers in key moments.
There’s a lot to like here, but also a lot that holds it back from being great.
